2022 SOPHIE TOTE BAG
Tucked away inside the zip pocket of every Sophie charity bag is a leaflet with information that may help someone you know that is secretly suffering from domestic abuse.
This year Wellington based artist Greta Menzies has custom designed the lining. The illustrations for this bag are uplifting and positive, signifying the intention of the fundraiser to bring positive change. The flowers are a tribute to Sophie.

100% profit from the sale of every Sophie Tote Bag will go towards providing SOS Safelet bracelets to women who are victims of family violence.
When the first lockdown of Covid hit, domestic violence & abuse increased by 30%. It was and still is a silent pandemic that allows people with controlling natures to confiscate phones & cut their victims off from the outside world.
Rachel Hay Design & Miranda from Ico Traders met with local experts and our charity partners to better understand domestic violence situations.
This year's featured artist is the incredibly talented Wellington Artist Greta Menzies.  In keeping with ‘the artist collaboration,’ the lining is screen printed onto 100% cotton. The profits from sales would allow us to purchase SOS Saflet bracelets to be distributed through some amazing charities, Christchurch Aunties & Te Whare Tiaki Wāhine Refuge, to women facing the dangers of family violence.
Sophie Elliott's family generously allowed us to name our bag after the vivacious, artistic & educated young woman who lost her life to family violence.
